Drama

DRAMA

Let's talk about drama!

But how?

When we are trying to define drama it becomes an abstract matter. However, whether we use it consciously or not we can grasp it easily.

No matter how talented a professor or an actor at literature or an ordinary unfortunate homeless at streets people who can laugh at a joke can seize the drama dust.

Ok, when had the drama started?

People play their part in their life. So, this makes every place be a scene. There are countless words, which had been spoken throughout history. Cavewomen, cavemen and their children, kings, queens, sultans, slaves, soldiers, merchants, sailors, primitive tribes' members; everybody who has the name "human" had said something, talked about future, chatted about daily routines, spoken to another, mentioned in a speech,  uttered, explained in detail, expressed something, told somebody, communicated in a way, whispered some secrets, sung a song, gossiped to neighbours.

All the above look like language abilities. Though, what is the reason that there are so many verbs to convey the meaning to the partner?

While speaking in different modes, doesn't our body movements change?

There is a famous term, concept or a branch of a serious occupation which name is body language.

While communicating we have such an inclination to deliver the meaning into our participant's mind in the best way that we wish or regarding our privileges and choices.

We invented the communication theory in the last century. On the other hand, we might see a tremendous amount of time before it.

And at that time and in which era had the first human spoken?

According to historians, in the prehistoric ages; - by the way, they how can they know the prehistoric era by studying historic times, interesting- humans were understanding each other using such kind of language which resembles a pantomime. As there was no verbal language and its grammar.

There was a board game whose name is like "let's tell". Participants in two opponent groups try to understand a word's meaning without speaking just by using pantomime movements.

That game is quite attractive as people have bodies. Without speaking, attempting to describe the meaning of the phrase or word might take them away from the time that is in into the time that no language is.

It seems like a time journey game that is played as being unconscious.

At that time, to explain where the pray is, where the enemy tribe hunts, how to escape from a lion, which kind of fruits and vegetables are beneficial, at which place they are plentiful, how to hunt, all of them were playing a vital role.

But there was a big issue.
How could you tell it to your tribe members?

There was no language to explain the matters in detail. The whole instruments were constrained by your body. By the way, for today the advanced tools that we possess and use are also an extension of our body which dates back to the cave people's era.

You have to imitate incidents, animals, natural objects, the enemy tribe member by moving your hands, legs and acting as if they were.

Demonstration of teamwork hunting, depicting it cave wall, reanimation a fight scene, illustrating target animal at the sand, simulating tactics of hunting scenes, characterizing of deadly predators, all above them were like Shakespeare's famous saying: to be or not to be.

If the situations compel to a matter of life or death, the human being starts creating, developing and improving vital tools at that moment.

As we have seen, there was ought to be means of explaining to be alive at the starting of human beings. Otherwise, the death doesn't knock on the door.

From a different viewpoint, a few decades century near today, that is, after the invention of language similar to now, a form of entertainment had appeared in the history scene.

Jugglers, charlatans, clowns were effective people in both castles and streets. Developing pioneers of today's weather in public places gained a dramatic role to criticise the aristocracy and bourgeoisie. Many play writers and actors were judged and condemned to severe punishments unfairly.

So, why did these happen?

To imitate the stupidness, silly behaviours of aristocrats and bourgeoisie, why is it so effective at all? Or to criticize their cluelessness and ruthlessness by using drama, how is it destructive for their social status?

Although the theatre has scanty opportunities, why are we impressed by a play at the stage much more than a film in the cinema?

Because its tools are old, classic, dating back to the beginning of human life on Earth by burying into our DNA.
